Treehouse Before and After School Club
Welcome to Blossomfield Infant and Nursery’s childcare provision for families in our community. We offer a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn through play, build confidence, and develop key social and emotional skills. Our team works closely with parents to ensure routines are clear, communication is consistent, and every child feels valued.
Our childcare is designed to support busy family lives while maintaining a focus on quality and wellbeing. Children take part in age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and early literacy and numeracy. We also provide structured play opportunities, quiet time when needed, and opportunities to enjoy outdoor learning, helping children settle comfortably and thrive throughout the day.

Treehouse Breakfast Club
Treehouse Breakfast Club runs from 7:30 am to 8:45 am Monday to Friday for children attend Blossomfield school and nursery. Breakfast club provides a fun, relaxed start to the children's school day with a free play environment across our 2 childcare rooms.
During Breakfast Club children can access resources such as superheroes, barbies, animals, dinosaurs, lego, home corner role play and dressing up opportunities, as well as the chance to get creative at our drawing table with light boards for tracing and large white boards/easels for shared play. Children are encouraged to play and make new friends from other classes and year groups by the staff in the session. All Treehouse clubs are inclusive of all areas of need and children are taught tolerance and understanding, with all children being celebrated and given an experience of equity whilst in our setting. Treehouse sessions have proven to improve children's social skills as well as encourage independent thinking and confidence within the school setting.
With a staff to child ratio of 1 staff member to 8 children, our dedicated team is made up of Childcare staff as well as teaching assistants across the school provision. This allows us to provide cohesive care as the children go through their school day and makes transitioning into the classroom easier for all children.
Breakfast is provided for the children until 8:30 am everyday and consists of cereals, toast and spreads and yogurt with fresh fruit available from our fruit bowl. All dietary requirements are catered to with a range of dairy free milks also available. Our Breakfast Club fee is inclusive of all food with no additional charge if your child needs or would like breakfast.
At 8:45 am children are taken to their classrooms by a member of Childcare staff.

Treehouse After school Club
Treehouse After school Club runs between the hours of 3:15pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday, for children attending Blossomfield school and Nursery. Sessions are booked by the hour with parents able to select a 4:15m, 5:15pm or 6pm pick up time. Children are brought to Treehouse by classroom staff and will then take part in free play and focussed activities across our two childcare rooms.
During After School club children have access to resources such as Knex, Octonauts, jigsaws, board games, action figures and much more. Each of our rooms has a large writing table where children are encouraged to colour and be creative as well as a home corner and fancy dress areas for children to extend their imaginative play. Childcare staff plan focussed craft activities and games around weekly themes for children to take part in if they wish, our staff who also work in school with the children also plan weekly opportunities for additional reading, language, fine motor, maths and handwriting activities. These are all planned with the fun nature of our clubs in mind with the children often being unaware that learning is taking place!
In the warmer months children are taken outside to make the most of our fantastic outdoor resources including the climbing frame, trim trail and football pitch. Bikes and scooters are often accessible on our playground as well as mini sports activities and group games.
Children are encouraged to play and make friends from other classes and other age groups by staff working in our sessions. All Treehouse clubs are inclusive of all areas of need and children are taught tolerance and understanding, with all children being celebrated and given an experience of equity in our setting. Treehouse sessions have proven to improve children's socials skills as well as encourage independent thinking and confidence within the school setting.
At Treehouse, we aim to provide a home from home environment where children can feel free to be themselves and spend their after school time unwinding in a way which best suits them.
During our sessions a fruit bowl is available from 3:30pm for all children to access. Children attending later sessions from 4:15pm onwards are also given a light, snack tea. We advise that this is not a replacement for a main evening meal but a more substantial snack to see the children through their after school session. Childcare staff are trained in food handling and all dietary and medical information is adhered to and catered for. Our After School club costs are inclusive of all food with no additional charge.
Both fixed and flexible contracts are available for our clubs. Please see below for our 25/26 After School pricing and booking forms.
